Thanks to a fairly recent 70,000 dollar upgrade, Ray Pascoe Park is a place to visit. This park runs along the edge of Tweed River can be found on Kennedy Drive in Tweed Heads.

The makeover at Ray Pascoe Park in Kennedy Drive includes an adventure play ground with slides, a climbing wall, track rider, double swing, carousel and an interactive play structure where children can use their imaginations.

The play equipment is set on top of lots of thick mulch which helps in case any of those adventurous kids want to try some new tricks.

Trees are scattered about the park with several tables and park benches. There are also BBQs and some tables. Toilets are also close by.

There is a large boat ramp just off the side to this large park. Great for fishing or pelican watching as the fishermen come in with their catch. Along the river ad past the park is a path suitable for cycling, walking or skating and running.

Across the road you will also find a bait and tackle shop if that interests you and a fish and chip shop.
